Welcome to the Mount Olive Lutheran Church Family Game Night website.
We created this website to help us plan and grow the Family Game Nights that we started in 2008. Last year saw an idea for a Family Game Night turn into a fun and well attended monthly event. There have been lots of ideas for new games, scrabble tournaments, crokinole leagues, and new game demos. This site will help us plan these events and communicate them to those that attend.
All are welcome. To those of you who attended in 2008, thanks for contributing to these fun evenings and we hope to see you out this year. If you haven’t attended a Family Game Night event, come on out. Old and young alike.

The tag line for our site says, “Life is short; play games.” The philosophy behind that simple idea is this: The world we live in is so busy and our lives are so fast paced that we often have little time to stop and enjoy each other’s company. At Mount Olive Lutheran Church we have created a space to make this possible. Once a month families, friends and people from the community are invited to come down to the church and sit across the table from each other and play some games. Sounds easy, but you’d be surprised at how hard it is to unplug from the world’s distractions and focus on getting to know each other face-to-face.
This is for people of all ages and the games played depend largely on the games brought by those interested. We do have favourites and there are some games that always make an appearance. We hope you take the time out of your busy schedule to join us, you wont be disappointed.
